Causes Of The QuickBooks Error OL-200, OL-202, OL-206, or OL-226

  • Damaged or Vendor Not working.
  • The workstation suddenly got shut down while the user was making a payment or using the online banking feature.
  • The bank has received just the part of the total payment.
  • The firewall setting in your system is causing problems.
  • Your internet connection is not stable.

Important note: Before you move further with the following troubleshooting steps, contact your bank to inform them to restrict the deduction for the same payment again. When the Message Asks For A PIN

  • In case the process asks the PIN, you have to release the ctrl button and type the PIN. Then again, press the ctrl key and tap the Ok button.
  • It will display the following message on your desktop:

  • Continue holding the ctrl key and hit Ok. doing so will lead to another popup with the following message:

Do you wish to resend this request again to your financial institution, do it only after speaking to the Online Banking Technical Team?

  • Keep the Ctrl key pressed and click on ok. This message will be closed.

When The Message Says: Your Last Online Connection Was Not Completed. QuickBooks Is Having A Problem Recovering From This Condition

  • Hold the ctrl and tap on Ok. This will get one popup message that states: Would you like to skip resending online transactions? Don’t do this prior to discussing it with the Online Banking Technical Team.
  • Holding the ctrl key, tap on the yes option, and you will be asked to insert the PIN.
  • To allow the connection with an online bank account and clear the transactions, you need to put the PIN here and hit the ok button.

In the Bank Feed Center, you can find the items to send. Select the affected transaction there and click on it.

  • When you toggle between the Pay Online or Online Bank, Press and hold the CTRL-key.
  • Hit Ok in case you get any popup message while holding the ctrl key.

Steps To Delete A Stuck Online Payment

You can choose the item that is supposed to be deleted from the items to send a window in the bank feeds center. Tap the delete option. When the delete option does not work, follow the below-given steps:

  • Select the payment and press & hold the ctrl key. Hit the delete button, and a message will pop up that says it cannot be deleted.
  • Continue holding the ctrl key and click on ok.
  • A confirmation message will pop up on the screen. Tap on Yes. Now, you can erase the stuck online payments by simply clicking on the delete option.

Important: When you have to delete more than one stuck online payment, you will have to perform the same steps for each payment. When the steps fail to delete the stuck online payment, you have to restore the backup of the company file that was created just before the error occurred.

When You Get OL-301 Error Received After Clearing Stuck Transactions

There are some instances when you can get the QB Error OL-301 for the upcoming online connection. You can perform the following steps to fix this:

  • Deactivate all the online accounts in QBD. To do this,
  • Choose the Charts of Accounts from the Company File menu and check the Include inactive box.
  • Deactivate all the online accounts. Ensure to disable the inactive accounts as well. To disable the account, right-tap on that and select Edit from the dropdown list.
  • Go to Bank Feed Settings and click on Deactivate All Online Services.
  • Hit save & close and restart the QBD.
  • Make a new account for the affected account in QB.
  • Change the name of the old account to the name of the new one, which is to be merged.
  • Right-tap on the old account and select Edit from the dropdown.
  • Give it the same name as the new account and click on Yes when it asks to merge the accounts.
  • Activate the online banking and press and hold the ctrl key when you set up the account. You can release the key when you need to type.
